Center for Child & Family Services provides comprehensive trauma-informed counseling services designed to support the emotional and mental well-being of children, adults, and families. Our experienced counselors work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Using evidence-based approaches and a strengths-based perspective, we help clients better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and build healthier relationships. Through individualized treatment and compassionate care, we aim to empower individuals and families to overcome obstacles and achieve lasting stability and well-being.
Our organization provides Representative Payee services for individuals who receive benefits from the Social Security Administration (SSA) or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and need assistance managing their funds. As a representative payee, we receive benefit payments on behalf of the beneficiary and ensure they are used for essential needs such as housing, food, and daily living expenses. We maintain accurate records and report to SSA or VA as required to ensure funds are managed responsibly. Our goal is to support financial stability while protecting the best interests of the individuals we serve.
Court approved treatment for adults, addressing Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Shoplifting, and Solicitation/Prostitution. Best practice, trauma informed treatment with proven positive outcomes. Our programs are designed to empower individuals with healthy, positive coping skills and healing from past trauma.
CCFS is a service provider of the VA Infant & Toddler Specialist Network for the Chesapeake Bay Region. ITS strives to achieve excellence in early care by increasing the knowledge level and skills of those who care for infants and toddlers in family homes and in centers
The Center for Child & Family Services at Williamsburg provides a sample of services available at our Newport News Office. These services include: Adult Anger Management, Counseling Services, Domestic Violence Batterer Intervention Services, Substance Abuse Services, Neurofeedback, and more.

Individual and Family Counseling: The Latino Outreach Program provides families, children and individuals with professional psychotherapy services through an individual or group platform. The Program also works together with other agencies and institutions that are already serving the Latino community.
PATTS is a program developed to focus on youth learning appropriate expression of their emotions by adopting the perspective that many aggressive children have exceptional leadership qualities that need to be redirected into more socially acceptable behavior.
The Reboot Program provides trauma-informed assessments and treatment for adults involved in intimate partner, family, or community violence, as well as individuals experiencing substance use challenges that do not require withdrawal management. The program focuses on fostering accountability, supporting healing, and promoting safer individuals, families, and communities.

The Fresh Start Job Readiness program is specifically designed to service the youth / adult job seeker with identifiable barriers. Agency experts have diversified the program to accommodate and guide youth towards successful and developing career goals, those aging out of the foster care system, victims of domestic violence, youth ages (16-24) and justice involved veterans. Participants are assisted and taught skills in finding and keeping employment.
Safe Harbor for Kids provides supervised visitation services that support safe and meaningful connections between children and their non-custodial parents or family members. The program is designed to offer a secure, neutral, and child-centered environment where families can maintain and strengthen relationships when circumstances require structured oversight.
